Free is someone who has joined a tribe of free people by ties in kinship and rights of belonging.

Alexis de Tocqueville (Liberty and Freedom were habitudes du Coeur, “habits of the heart” Moeurs libres customs, beliefs, traditions, and folkways of free people. (Fischer 3)

Why/Do we need laws to protect freedom?

What is a law? Does a law have bounds? And if so then we are actually bounded by law. Where the word liberty actually means unbounded.

Does a law that protects our freedoms actually do so, or merely infringe upon our freedoms which we are trying to protect?

Who gave us these rights to freedom?

Who protects our rights of freedom and liberty?

“In wildness is the preservation of the world.” (Thoreau)
