Do you really even know your own purpose?
Weve really only begun to scratch the surface
What are we doing, and why are we doing it
Feeling confused and unsure i must admit
Day after day, night after night
Years and years of trying to find the light
Light that will guide me to my next move
Constantly feeling the need to improve
Fall asleep dreaming, wake up achieving
Never again let anyone stop me from believing
Held back for so long by a selfish force
Its now time for life to take its course
190 pounds lifted off of my back
In the right direction, on the right track
To finding happiness and all i deserve
My thoughts no longer being held on reserve
Linger on dreams, strength and courage
Dismiss the ones that try to discourage
It took a long time but now i can say
Im on my own and its better that way
